So it’s Memorial Day weekend, and I’m going to visit my uncle’s grave. He was a WW2 veteran, so being a good American I wanted to drop of a flag on his gravestone and thank him for his service. I stopped at THREE different Walgreens as I looked for a small little American flag, and nope. Not one in any of the 3 stores. How could a store like Walgreens not have an American flag on Memorial Day? The funny thing is, that each store had a HUGE selection of LGBTQ flags and decorations, as it happened to be pride month. I have no problem with the LGBTQ community. But WTF, zero American Flags?????
We turned a blind eye to you slimy corporate fucks price gauging our toilet paper, overcharging us on medicine in your pharmacy, not paying your taxes… but when you don’t even offer an American flag on Memorial Day, a day we celebrate our veterans who died to give you the right to continue to rip us off day in and day out, that’s where I draw the line. Fuck you, fuck Walgreens.
